    Step back in time to the Roaring ’20s at the historic Palmer House Hotel!
    Hosted by Ghost Stories Ink, this unique retreat blends the glamour and excitement of the Jazz Age with the mystery and intrigue of the paranormal.
    Event highlights include: a 1920s-inspired Sip-and-Paint Night, a Gatsby-inspired celebration with live jazz music from The Components and signature cocktails; the writing, art, and history workshops that only Ghost Stories Ink can deliver; and of course, a paranormal investigation–all inspired by the rich gangster history of the area.

    EVENT HIGHLIGHTS:

    1920s Sip-and-Paint Night: Channel your inner flapper or dapper gentleman at our vintage-inspired sip-and-paint session. Enjoy Prohibition-era cocktails while creating your own masterpiece with guidance from a talented artist.

    Gatsby-Inspired Celebration: Dance the night away at our Gatsby-themed party featuring a live jazz band.
    Savor signature cocktails as you revel in the elegance and exuberance of the 1920s. Costumes encouraged!
    Gangster History Workshop: Dive into the notorious history of gangsters who once roamed the area.
    Discover the secrets and scandals of the Prohibition era in a captivating workshop that brings the past to life.
    Writing Workshop: Unleash your creativity in a writing workshop designed to kickstart your inspiration. Drawing from the rich cultural and historical backdrop of the 1920s, this session will help you craft stories with flair and authenticity.
    Art Workshop: Explore various art techniques in our hands-on workshop, where you’ll have the opportunity to create unique pieces inspired by the eerie ambiance of the haunted basement.

    Regular Tickets: Cost $175
    Friday 7:00 pm: Gatsby Gala (Saturday), and Paranormal Investigation (Saturday night).
    Saturday (various times): All workshops including Gangster History, Writing Workshop, Art Workshop, and Paranormal Investigation
    Access code to stay in the hotel for the weekend (cost of room and board not included)
    VIP Tickets: Cost $215
    All the things included with the regular ticket PLUS:
    Thursday 7:00 pm: *Paint-and-Sip class & a COMPLIMENTARY drink. *Hotel room FREE (Thursday night only).
    Friday: A COMPLIMENTARY drink ticket for the Gatsby Gala, and time to make the most of the inspirational space while working on your current writing or art project.
    Due to the limited amount of availability, tickets are non-refundable. If for some reason you are unable to attend, you can reach out to Jessica Freeburg (jessicafreeburg@gmail.com), and she will discuss your options with you.
    * Paint-and-Sip tickets for non-event attendees available for $50 each (includes 1 complimentary drink ticket).
    ** Thursday night hotel room is free for anyone paying to stay Friday and Saturday.
    Hotel rooms are NOT Included in the ticket price and must be reserved through the hotel on your own. A password/phrase is required to reserve a room. That phrase along with the contact information for the hotel will be emailed to you within 24 hours of your ticket purchase.

    Join us to discover the fascinating history behind the Historic Palmer House Hotel. Learn more about the previous owners, famous guests, and unregistered residents. Afterwards your tour guides will take you to our infamous basement. This part of the hotel is closed to the public and can only be accessed during our tours. Once in the basement, we will conduct a mini investigation to find out who may still be checked in to the hotel after all these years, with ample time to take as many pictures as you’d like!
     The cost to have this unique Palmer House experience is $45 + tax per person and is non-refundable under any circumstances. Tours will last approximately 2-3 hours.
     All participants must sign a Waiver of Liability before the tour.
